Celebration Bermuda Grass

Celebration Bermuda grass is dark blue-green with high drought tolerance. Due to its low natural height, Celebration is renowned for requiring less mowing than any other Bermuda grass varieties. Like other Bermuda grasses, Celebration is know for its density and resistance to wear.

Celebration expands quickly after planting. It’s also more shade-tolerant than most other sports turfgrasses. This Bermuda variety is resilient and grows in many soil and weather conditions. It will thrive in hot, humid environments. Celebration is extremely drought tolerant.

Palmetto St. Augustine

With a finer texture than other St. Augustine types, Palmetto St. Augustine will grow in a variety of soil types and climate conditions. 419 Tifway Bermuda Grass

419 Tifway is a finely textured, deep green Bermuda turf. It’s extremely weed and disease resistant. 419 Tifway makes an excellent choice for golf courses, athletic fields, and residential lawns. Due to its top growth’s density, Tifway is wear resistant and resists weed invasions. 419 is the most widely used turfgrass in the South for golf courses and sports fields.

Bitter Blue St. Augustine

Bitter Blue St. Augustine grass was one of the original improved varieties that first became available. Although Bitter Blue grass has a darker green color and improved texture than common St. Augustine grass, it has a lower tolerance to the herbicide, Atrazine, making weed control harder. Besides having an enhanced darker bluish-green color and better texture, Bitter Blue grass can tolerate shade better than common St. Augustine grass. It also is more tolerant of colder temperatures. Another benefit is that this type of St. Augustine grass grows slower so there's less mowing.

Floratam St. Augustine

Seville sod is a semi-dwarf grass used throughout the southeastern United States. Another vigorous sod, Seville has an excellent horizontal compact growth due to its semi-dwarf composition, and requires less mowing than most grasses. While Seville sod is one of the highest ranked, shade-tolerant St. Augustine grasses, it also grows well in full sunlight. Seville sod will prove its worth when those cold snaps come along because it has an excellent tolerance to cold weather. It retains its color and, when warm weather returns, it shows its true green again with only moderate fertilizer.

Bahia GrassSeville

Bahia grass is great as an all-purpose grass, and has increased in popularity due to its ability to survive heavy drought periods.  It has a much better tolerance for drought than many other St. Augustine grasses, due largely to its extensive root system.  It also performs well in infertile, sandy soil without the constant input of fertilizer; making it relatively low maintenance compared to other warm season grasses.  Also, unlike many other St. Augustine grass types that are susceptible to fungal infections and issues with chinch bugs and other lawn pests, Bahia grass rarely holds disease or insect problems.
